5 Problems of Real Reality glasses and Meta innovations to solve them

In real life, our eyes and brain change rapidly when we choose a certain step in our vision to be our goal. Some models of TVs and cell phones have already exceeded the target size of 60 pixels for image angles, which allows for “retina” resolution, i.e., similar to that of the human retina. Why are VR glasses still missing?

Because the pixels are spread out to cover a larger area to mimic the depth of the field. This reduces the final resolution.

Also according to Reality Labs specifications, nature shines between 10 and 100 times brighter than high-quality television images on the market at the moment. That’s where Starburst’s experimental product comes in – the first HDR (High Dynamic Frequency) device. This feature, which is already available on some TVs and monitors, creates sharper, more dramatic images.

In HDR, light output is measured in the “nits” unit. Quest 2 can deliver up to 100 nits. Some television designs are closer to 10,000 nits, considering the criterion that best represents the standard reality. Startburst will be able to reach 20 thousand.

The problem is that the device is still an unusable, heavy device that researchers hold close to their faces with a string, as if it were a pair of telescopes.
