Hardy - Uniqua 2 5/8 Fly Reel - Freestone Vintage Tackle

For sale here is a 2 5/8" Hardy Uniqua fly reel. A 1920's/1930's reel with horseshoe latch and smooth brass foot (unaltered). The leaded finish is mostly faded to a light gray patina, and the initials "ECR" are scratched into the spool and frame. Standard nicks/scratches from honest use, and a bit of line burn but nothing objectionable. Mechanically smooth and tight, though the handle is a crude replacement. The handle grasp turns, but not as smoothly as one might hope for. The 2 5/8" is a desirable size, good for most 2/3wt fishing (or even a WF4). From the collection of Per G. Brandin.
