Hiruko Sakasa Kebari Package includes two (2) hand-tied flies. Hooks used are from Firehole Outdoors located in Bozeman, MT. Hooks are black nickel carbon steel; chemically sharpen; and, have a longer turned-up point for excellent penetration and holding power without having to apply much pressure. Oh, and they’re crazy sharp. This pattern has a nice “semi-buggy” look that trout can’t resist. Available in both Olive and Brown dubbing selection. Pattern tied with a red metallic cooper wire ribbing symmetrically wrapped around an elegant tappered body using a hand-mixed custom blend dubbing for a unique dubbing color with traces of UV flash. Its most notable characteristic is that it is tied with a reverse hackle. Since the hackle faces the direction of the line, the angler can "pulse" the fly by twitching it back towards them. When twitched, it expands and flattens, and on a pause, it will contract and return to its original position. The resulting motions can be used to mimic the movements of insects in order to entice a strike.
