For sale here is a Sage Model 709 fly reel in excellent used condition. The Sage 700 reel series was made by Loop (Danielsson) in Sweden. These reels have a neutral bias for left or right hand retrieve with an adjustable knob that applies tension to the spool (affects incoming and outgoing). The spool also has a palmable rim. Ideal for line weights 7-9. The reel weighs 6.55 oz. Diameter 4 1/4". Capacity WF8+200. The reel is compatible with the Loop Traditional 3 spools and vice-versa.
