The X-70 is a juvenile minnow-style jerkbait built to dominate the shallow range with irresistibly wide side-to-side darting action. Tuned to suspend in the 1-2ft range, the X-70 is ideal for river systems, flats, shallow docks, and skinny-water areas where jerkbaits too often fear to tread. Its flat sided design enables huge flash and consistent range-keeping, even with a hard-hitting jerkbait cadence. With a simple retrieve, the body shape elicits a flickering swimming action that looks deceptively at home in its natural habitat. The suspending action of the X-70 can also be harnessed for a dead-drift & twitch presentation in current, closely mimicking injured baitfish and other forage.

The ONETEN excels when water temps are between 38 to 70 degrees. During this time (especially from November to April in most U.S. waters), the VISION ONETEN is excellent when fishing points, flats, rocky banks, bluffs, or above submerged grass beds. However, the ONETEN is also deadly around boat docks in the heat of the summer, so it is common to see a ONETEN on the front deck of tournament boats year-round.

The VISION ONETEN is at its best when fished with 6lb. to 15lb. fluoro, with a sweet spot in the 10-12lb range. Line diameter will affect the depth the ONETEN is able to reach, running nearly 7 ft. deep on 6lb. test, to around 4 ft. on 15lb. test.

The VISION ONETEN+1’s bill is crafted to eliminate the traditional issues of high water-resistance, fatigue, and deadened darting-action often associated with long-bill minnows, while at the same time preserving the legendary action of the original VISION ONETEN. By positioning the line-eye close to the body, water resistance is reduced in order to make it easier to work the VISION ONETEN+1.

Thoroughly tested, the Megabass VISION ONETEN+1 darts and twitches more aggressively than the original, traveling further with each snap of the rod. In addition, this angler-friendly design also channels more water towards the lure’s forehead and along the carefully sculpted body, allowing for irresistible action with the slightest angler input.
