This is my reply to the gentleman who DM’d me below: “The 3+ is basically a modern equivalent of a Hardy Perfect Taupo or a Marquis Salmon 1, measuring just shy of 4” with a 1.25” spool width and a weight of 7oz. It was Lamson’s dedicated steelhead switch and light spey reel, the smallest of the three reel lineup.
