The Arundell is one of the leading fly fishing hotels in the country based in the village of Lifton on the Devon, Cornwall border. Located at the confluence of five rivers, The Arundell has 22 miles of private fishing on some of Devon’s most beautiful rivers. Buy a day ticket for wild fly fishing for grayling, brown trout and sea trout, take advice on the rivers and tackle from one of our experienced ghillies or book a ghillie for the day to provide either guidance or tuition for individuals, families and groups. No equipment is needed as all equipment and tackle is available to hire or to buy at the hotel. With a long tradition as one of the leading flying fishing hotels, The Arundell is proud to teach many of the children and grandchildren of Arundell guests who first learned to fish at the hotel and who love visiting us year after year. For refreshments, The Arundell Deli is open by 8am for breakfast and coffee and can also provide delicious picnic lunches for the whole family. Our focus is on local and seasonal produce and The Deli is filled with wonderful fresh produce and groceries which have been lovingly created in our kitchen. The Arundell restaurant with its fabulous bar is renowned in the area for its outstanding food and Masterchef status and is the perfect place for the family to finish their day. The restaurant is available for lunch and evening bookings and The Deli is open daily from 8am to 6pm with grocery boxes available for preorder and delivery. The Arundell fishing shop is open daily from 8.30am during the fishing season. Fishing tickets are available from the start of the season (mid March) through to Mid October our ghillies and fishing shop will be available from mid April, the Deli is open daily and the hotel and restaurant is open all year but do check website for latest information.
