With 6 arms it fits in a pocket or tool belt easily. The recessed arrows in the windows are machined for a low profile, meaning they are down close to the the degree marks for accurate reading and so reducing parallax errors.
The 3 display windows include; protractor angle, miter angle and single butt joint angle. There is a handy extra scale for acute angles beyond 45 degrees to use with a pre-cut 45 degree block, allowing even tighter angles to be cut using a miter saw.
