Ripple vs. Shiba Inu: Search Volume Battle
It goes without saying that Ripple (XRP) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) are two of the most exciting communities in the cryptocurrency space.
It is undoubtedly among the most popular altcoins, but it turns out that Ripple (and XRP) consistently outperforms Shiba Inu (and SHIB) in one specific metric.
We’re talking about search interest, according to Google Trends. This is what the 1-year chart looks like when comparing Ripple, XRP, Shiba Inu, and SHIB:
As shown in the chart, it is clear that Ripple and XRP are trending better compared to SHIB and Shiba Inu, although Shiba Inu seems to be performing slightly better than Ripple. Of course, it is important to note that the Shiba Inu is a dog breed, and it is impossible to differentiate the search volume for it from cryptocurrency.
However, this is the current situation, and it was not always the case. In fact, in Q1, the Shiba Inu consistently outperformed both Ripple and XRP as search terms.
