Need help with understanding what 4/0 to 6/0 reel size means? - Main Forum - SurfTalk

When it’s said to bring a 4/0 -6/0 retrieve reel what do the numbers mean, as far as size equivalency. I have a Diawa Saltist 6500 and a Cabo 80 spinning reels. Do that for that 4/0 to 6/0?? I appreciate anyone explaining how that works. Thanks a lot. cL
