Yago Dora returns to the stage that took her to another level in the slippery world. It was in Saquarema in 2017 that he became known as “Estragodora”. During that time, he defeated three world champions and was eliminated in the semi-finals by Adriano de Souza. Paranaense living in Santa Catarina replaces the world champion eleven times as he also recovers from an injury in the first half of the season, a ruptured ligament in his left ankle.

In the final stage of the WQS, the second division of the league, held in Saquarema in 2021, Yago Dora was the champion and reached the final with João Chianca. Chumbinho started the 2022 season with the elite, but could not stay in the cutting line for the final period. This time, he gets the opportunity to return to Circuit as a guest of the house, as he was born and raised in Saquarema.

Michael Rodrigues will also replace the injured runner. This is another world champion: John John Florence. Michael takes the chance to be the best Brazilian in the 2022 ranks of the WSL Challenger Series. Also Hawaiian Seth Moniz, is another who continues to recover from the injury and will be replaced by Miguel Tudela of Peru, the current leader of the WSL regional Latin American title, the same criteria used to invite Peruvian Sol Aguirre.
